Jinx:

A jinx, in popular superstition and folklore, is:

* A sort of curse placed on a person that makes them prey to large numbers of minor misfortunes and other forms of bad luck;

* A person afflicted with a similar curse, who, while not directly subject to a series of misfortunes, seems to attract them to anyone in his general area.

* An object or animal that brings bad luck.
A common slang term used when two people say the same thing at the same time (said as a game amongst young children around the ages of 11 to 14 again suggests some kind of spooky supernatural interference).

* The superstition is sometimes used when talking about a future event with too much confidence. A statement like "We're sure to win the contest!" can be seen as a jinx by tempting fate. After such a statement, failure would be ironic. For the human mind, the irony makes it all the more likely. This therefore brings bad luck: it is a "jinx".

Yup, I know her name is Jynx, but I couldn't let her pass without joking! The drawing was made based on the meaning of Jinx and not based on the pokémon itself! I know she's a ugly big liped girl, but... Where is the fun in that? XD The idea of a pretty girl that gives bad luck is better in my view! XD If I'm not mistaken, on the epsiode Ash finds a Jynx, pokedex said she brings bad luck... Is it right?

In this drawing I'm trying a different way of colors, where I changed the blending options on the lineart layer to change it's colors. It came out pretty good actualy. I thought it would suck badly!

With that appearance might actually want to catch Jynx, sure she still causes bad luck but at least she's got something going for her, and always confused when they made smoochum later which was so cute could evolve into such a hideous thing

This is...awesome! o.o If Jynx actually evolved to this, I'd feel for the trainers because the males would be tempted and confused since Gijinka would be a flirt; the females would be jealous and envious for being out done by a pokemon. Running into Gijinka in the wild would be funny since people would try to save her from the wilderness when she's actually at home there. ....I want fanfics now Dx
